Tottenham Hotspur has completed its first signing ahead of the new football season which kick-off in August 2022.

The London side confirmed on its website on Tuesday, May 31st, 2022, the signing of Croatia’s Ivan Perisic as a free agent from Inter Milan. He is expected to stay at the White Hart Lane until June 2024.

The midfielder is coming to Tottenham under the familiar terrain of Antonio Conte who was his manager when Inter won the Serie A during the 2020/21 season.

He was in an amazing form in the just concluded 2021/22 season, registering 10 goals and nine assists in all competitions on the way to winning the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.

Perisic has 113 caps for Croatia, h has scored 32 goals till date, he was also a part of the Croatia’s team that lost the final of the FIFA World Cup against France in Russia 2018.
