The Glo-sponsored drama series, The Village Headmaster is in its 41st episode and there might just be war looming around the corner for the people of Jebako. Can the war be avoided?

There’s a popular saying that when two elephants fight, it is the grass that is trampled on and in this situation, the people of Jebako are most likely to be the grass in a battle for the throne. It may seem that Regent Adenike’s time may be up as the Regent of Jebako.  Although the people of Jebako have enjoyed peace under her reign, the people continue to believe that the customs and laws of the land must be adhered to and a new Oba must be crowned. This however doesn’t sit well with Regent Adenike as she feels there is a need to protect her father’s lineage and legacy, by remaining in the ruling position.

Her beliefs cause an uproar among the council of chiefs who remain intent on crowning the newly elected Oba, Prince Oyebade. The Regent Adenike and Prince Oyebade faced off over the latter’s refusal to step down from the throne, resulting in threats from both sides.  Will Regent Adenike vacate the throne willingly or would she rather go to war to secure her rule? Will Prince Oyebade give up his claim to the throne and concede to the Regent?

Meanwhile, Madam Folake decides to pay a visit to Teacher Ese following the apprehension of Madam Loading and dismantling of her human trafficking crew. In the wake of this arrest, Teacher Ese revealed to Madam Folake that she had returned all the gifts she had received from Madam Loading. Their conversation was however interrupted by Prince Adeniyi and Lakunle, who had dropped by to check up on her wellbeing. To everyone’s surprise, Teacher Ese welcomed the two warmly and also agreed to a date with the Prince. Love is in the air, but for how long? The date went on smoothly for a while but it seems as if Prince Adeniyi cannot stop himself from saying the wrong things to Teacher Ese. What could have led to the sudden change in their conversation? Could their love story end before it even began?

It’s the day of the special excursion organised by Teacher Iginla to compensate for excluding some students from the first trip. He gathered the students at Mr Abubakar’s farm to educate them on agriculture and its importance to everyone and the country’s economy. The excursion was however brought to an abrupt end when a student slumped and had to be rushed to the hospital. This incident brought the excursion to the attention of the Headmaster and revealed that the excursion had never been approved by the school, as implied by Teacher Iginla to Mr Abubakar. How will the school, the Headmaster, Mr Abubakar and the parents handle the situation?
