In yet another demonstration of people-centered leadership, Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun (ENACT), a respected son of Kwara South, distributed rams to Muslims across the senatorial district in celebration of the 2025 Eid al-Adha (Ileya) festival.

The thoughtful gesture, done annually during festive periods, was aimed at supporting families, particularly those in need, and ensuring that the spirit of sacrifice, sharing, and love — which defines Eid — is felt in every corner of the community.

From Ifelodun to Offa, Oke-Ero to Isin, Irepodun to Ekiti, and Oyun, the rams were delivered to traditional rulers, religious leaders, party stakeholders, youths, women, and vulnerable residents across various towns and villages. Coordinators in each area oversaw the peaceful and well-organized distribution process to ensure fairness and inclusiveness.

Reactions from Share Community and Beyond

In Share town, which holds deep historical and cultural significance in Ifelodun Local Government, several respected individuals expressed their joy and appreciation for ENACT’s kind gesture.

    > Mr. Bello Sedeeq said: “Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun is a man of the people. His name alone brings hope. This Sallah gift is timely, thoughtful, and highly appreciated by our community. We stand with him, always.”

    > Mr. AbdulRasheed Seleke noted: “ENACT’s impact goes beyond politics — it reflects a sincere love for his people. This Sallah support shows he sees and hears us. May Allah reward his generosity and elevate him.”

    > Alhaji M.T Lawal, a respected elder in Share, added: “ENACT continues to distinguish himself with humility and generosity. He is writing a legacy of compassion, service, and sacrifice. We are proud to have such a visionary from our midst.”

Voices Across Kwara South Echo Gratitude

The warm reception of this gesture wasn’t limited to Share alone. Across Kwara South, community leaders offered heartfelt prayers for ENACT:

    > “This is not just politics — this is humanity,” said Alhaja Munirat from Oke-Ode. “ENACT understands the heart of the people. May Allah grant him the opportunity to serve at a higher level.”

    > “Even without holding political office, he’s achieving what many elected leaders fail to do,” remarked Mallam Sulaimon from Irepodun. “This is why we believe in ENACT.”

A Consistent Voice for the People

ENACT’s dedication to community development is not new. Through educational scholarships, healthcare support, youth empowerment, and now religious festive interventions, he continues to demonstrate that leadership is not a title — it’s service.

His Ileya intervention is not only a gift of meat but a gift of love, belonging, and shared values.

As Muslims mark this holy season, many homes across Kwara South are filled with joy — not just because of the feast, but because someone remembered them. And that someone is Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun — ENACT.
