A staff member of Vine Crest College, Magaji Adebanjo, has appealed for urgent help after being kidnapped by armed men along the Kabba road in Kogi State.
In a video released by his abductors and published by SaharaReporters, Adebanjo appeared distressed as he introduced himself and explained that he was travelling from Iperu to Abuja when the incident occurred. He stated that his kidnappers are demanding ₦100 million for his release.
Adebanjo, who hails from Imo Arikoko in the Akoko area of Ondo State, pleaded for assistance from Nigerians, mentioning that he has a pregnant wife, a four‑year‑old son, and an elderly father who depend on him.
Authorities have not yet issued an official response, and details surrounding the incident remain limited as investigations continue.
