Luis Suarez has tested positive for the coronavirus while on international duty. According to Marca.

The Uruguay striker returned a positive test result on Monday, he will miss his country’s clash with Brazil in midweek and Atletico Madrid’s upcoming LaLiga Santander clash with Barcelona.

Uruguay had informed Atletico Madrid that all of their players were COVID-19 free after Matias Vina’s positive test, but Luiz Suraz was confirmed positive on Monday afternoon.

Atletico Madrid Forward, Suarez will now have to quarantine and will, as a result, miss out against Barcelona on Saturday and in the Champions League against Lokomotiv Moscow next week.
