Speaker, Kwara state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi Salihu has described the passage on to the great beyond of the Magajiya of Gwanara Emirate, Hajia Hawau Aliyu Suleiman as a colossal loss to the Emirates and Baruten local government.
“The Magajia of Gwanara was a unifier, who dedicated her life to not only protecting the interest of the womenfolks, but selflessly coordinating them toward attainment of developmental objectives of Gwanara Emirates,” a statement by Special Assistant on Media to the Speaker reads.
Hajia Hawau Aliyu became the Magajia of Gwanara Emirate on June 3rd, 2007 and gave up the ghost at the early hours of today, after brief illness.
The Speaker extends his condolence to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Gwanara Alh (Dr) Sabi Idris, Kotokotogi II and the entire Gwanara Emirate council.
He besieged Almighty Allah to make Aljannah Firdaous her abode and grant her family, Gwanara Emirate and Baruten local government fortitude to bear the loss.
