Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi Salihu has congratulated His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilesha, Prof. Halidu Abubakar, Derekureku IV on the occasion of his 73rd birthday anniversary.
The lawmaker, who represents Ilesha/Gwanara State Constituency at the 9th Assembly described the Emir as “A sage, whose support and contribution to the development of Baruten local government and Kwara State cannot be overemphasized.”
“I congratulate my Royal Father, the Emir of Ilesha Baruba, His Royal Highness, Prof. Halidu Abubakar, Derekureku IV on the occasion of his birthday anniversary”, Danladi-Salihu said in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Ibrahim Sheriff.
“His Highness is a rare sage who plays a guide and advisory role towards attainment of our developmental goals in my immediate constituency, Baruten local government and Kwara state”, he added.
The lawmaker, on behalf of the 9th Kwara state House of Assembly wish His Royal Highness greater life of fulfilment and prosperity on the throne of his forebears.
