Speaker, Kwara state House of Assembly has described the death of the pioneer Grand Khadi of Kwara state, Justice Abdulkadir Orire (CON) as a great loss to Kwara state and the Nation at large.
“On behalf of the 9th Kwara state House of Assembly, I condole with His Royal Highness, the Emir of ilorin, Kwarans and Nigeria judiciary over the demise of pioneer Grand Khadi of Kwara state, Justice Abdulkadir Orire (CON)”, Danladi-Salihu said in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Ibrahim Sheriff.
Justice Orire was an elder statesman, who became the pioneer Grand Khadi of the Kwara State Sharia Court of Appeal between 1975 and 1999 and passed on to the great beyond earlier today at the ripe age of 87.
“While his demise left us with sore feelings, we are consoled by the exemplary and worthy life he lived, which will continue to be a reference point for upcoming generations aspiring to lead a life dedicated to service, humanity and Godliness”, the statement added.
The lawmaker pray Allah SWT forgives the deceased’s shortcomings, accommodate him abode in Aljanah Firdaus and grant his family fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
