The KidsTech Africa team organized a symposium for parents, guardians, and school owners in Ibadan on 24th April, 2021 in readiness for the maiden edition of the KidsTech Africa coding program.

In a statement issued by the Team lead of KidsTech Africa, Dunmoye Ayobami, the program was organized to sensitize parents on the importance of technology, its adoption and relevance in the Fourth Industrial Revolution Era (4IR), and the need to get young Africans involved in the evolving global technological evolution and advancement.

KidsTech is a hands-on coding and tech program that targets kids aged 6 to 15 in a bid to introduce them to technology through training and mentorship.

Three KidsTech Africa alumni who are currently members of the kidsTech Africa Club showcased some of their projects which they built using Python Programming Language at the event in Ibadan.

The kids exhibited projects in the areas of Fintech (an atm simulator) EdTech (a CBT app), Games (tic tac toe).
Parents, guardians, and school owners who were present at the symposium were amazed and impressed with the beautiful presentation by the kids and sees reasons to enroll their kids on this innovative program.

The KidsTech Africa team appreciates all who were present at the symposium. The team will continue to put in its best and will ensure to groom kids who will be part of the program in Ibadan.

The kids will be trained in Scratch, Python, and Java programming languages respectively. Registration for the maiden edition is ongoing.
