President Muhammed Buhari has appointed Balarabe Ilelah as the new director-general of the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC.
The appointment was announced in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday, June 11 by Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
He said Mr. Ilelah’s appointment is for a tenure of five years in the first instance.
Ilelah takes over from the erstwhile DG, Armstrong Idachaba.
