Eight suspected rapists and killers of a University of Ilorin 300 level Olajide Blessing, were today arraigned before a High Court in Ilorin, Kwara state presided over by Justice Adebayo Yusuf.
Acccording to reports, they were charged to court on eleven count charge including criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, rape, culpable homicide, theft & possession of proceeds of armed robbery.
The prosecution team led by the Anthony General and Commissioner for Justice of the State, Barrister Salman Jawondo, in his submission, promised to get legal representatives for the suspects who do not have against the next adjourned date.
The case was adjourned to 6th of next month on this basis while the suspects were ordered to be remanded in Mandala Correctional facility.
It would be recalled that the deceased was gruesomely gang-raped and murdered a month ago at her residence in Tanke, off-campus.
