One of Kwara State’s foremost youth entrepreneurs and community development advocates, Soliu Mohammed has joined Nigerians in mourning the death of Emir of Lafiagi, Alh. Sa’adu Kawu Haliru (OFR). Mohammad described the late king as a father figure whose commitment to the development of Lafiagi and Nupeland will forever be remembered.

He recounted his visit to the palace where he met with the late Emir and how he was warmly received by him. Mohammed described the late Emir as a trusted repository of knowledge and a leader who not only preaches peace but also demonstrate it in all his dealings.

“Baba Sa’adu as I fondly call him challenged me to speak in Nupe when my brother Sheikh Aminullahi Faki, Chief Imam of Mile 12, Lagos took me to him for his royal blessings when I indicated interest to serve the community more by participating in politics.” – He recounted.

Mohammed prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive all the late Emir’s shortcomings and accept his return.
“May he grant him Aljanah of firdous.” – he prayed.

He also commiserated with the entire family of the late Emir, the entire Lafiagi community, Nupeland, Kwara, and Nigeria at large.

“For the love felt, I say, farewell, Baba Estu Sa’adu Baaaaaaagandozhi” – he concluded.
