Reno Omokri has given Anambra-born business tycoon, Obi Cubana tips on how to overcome his current ordeal in the hands of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The ex-presidential aide urged Cubana to join the All Progressives Congress, APC. He said if Cubana joins APC, it will stop the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and other government agencies from disturbing him.
Omokri said Cubana’s sins would be forgiven if he joins the ruling APC, the same way former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, did.
Cubana was arrested and taken to the headquarters of the EFCC at Jabi, Abuja on Monday afternoon and has remained in custody for two days now.
The popular club owner made headlines and became the talk of the town in July 2021 when he hosted an ostentatious burial for his late mother in Oba, Anambra State, in which over 200 cows were reportedly slaughtered.
Meanwhile, Fani-Kayode decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the APC recently causing shock in many quarters.
“I would counsel Cubana to join and donate to APC, like FFK, and not only would his ’sins’ (if any) be forgiven, he can even take a photo with Buhari at Aso Rock,” Reno Omokri tweeted.
