The National Assembly on Tuesday upgraded Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State to University.
A bill to establish School of Mines and Geological studies, Guyuk has been passed by the Senate on Tuesday.
Among the bills passed was the Federal University of Technology Act (Amendment) Bill, 2022.
The passage of the FUTA amendment bill gave authorization to the upgrade of Federal Polytechnic Offa from Diploma Awarding institution to Degree awarding Federal University of Technology.
