    Wizkid’s ‘Joro’ gets certified Gold in Canada

    Grammy award winner Wizkid’s broke a new record with his 2019 single, titled ‘Joro’, On February 8, 2022.

    ‘Joro’ had been certified Gold in Canada after single crosses 40,000 album-equivalent units.

    According to Music Canada, The following formula is used to determine a track’s total units for Certification:

    Digital & Physical Single Sales + On-Demand Audio Stream Equivalents = Total Units for Single Award Certification

    Currently, the video of the song also has over 175 million views on YouTube.

    Recall that the track was released in 2019, it was Wizkid’s second single after a six-month hiatus and absence from social media.
