The President of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union, Alh. Uthman Ottan and Chief of Imam of Gambari attended the public presentation of the book, “The Withering Tongue” written by Al-Amin El-Nasir.
The event, which took place in Ilorin on Sunday, 6th of March, 2022 also had other dignitaries in attendance.
Speaking at the event, The author expressed his gratitude to God Almighty, friends and family. He used the opportunity to share what inspired him to write the book and its title with the audience.
Notable personalities who were present for the occasion include the wife of the celebrant, Mrs Al-Ameen; Alhaja Halimat Yusuf (OON, FCE), VC Kwasu, ably represented by Sanni Mubarak, Ambassador Abdulaziz, Mallam Bolaji Abdullah represented by Abdullateef Isowo, Barr. Kamaldeen Ajibade SAN represented by Isowo, Dr Usman Akanbi the chairman of the event
Also present, Prof. Moshood Jimba, Professor Abdulkabir Solih, Dr Foluke Aliyu-Ibrahim, Dr Saeedat Aliu, Engr. Ridwan Cook, Alhaji Habeeb Sulyman.
