A leading aspirant for kwara South Senatorial seat, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun observed 40 days Fidau Prayer in honour of his late father, Alhaji Shuaib Adeyemi Balogun, Balogun Esie.
Alhaji Shuaib Adeyemi Balogun died on Sunday, 13th of March 2022 at the age of 93 and was buried according to Islamic rites.
The event was held earlier today at Esie, Kwara State. The prayer was led by the chief Imam of Esie Land, Sheik Busari Yusuf who extolled the virtues of the deceased and was assisted by other clerics within the Esie Land.
The sermon was delivered by Chief Imam of Offa, Sheikh Muyideen Salman and reminded all of the importance of taking good care of our parents, dead or alive.
The Fridau Prayer had in attendance; Elesie of Esie, HRH Oba Yakubu Babalola Egunjobi II, Olupo of Ajase Ipo, HRH, Barr. Ismail Yahaya Alebiosu, Elesie of Esie, Balogun Offa and high powerful government delegates; Kwara state Comm. for Health, Dr.Raji Razaq, Comm. For Social development – Mrs Aremu Abosede Deborah, SA Strategy, Saadu Salaudeen, SA Political Matters, Mallam Gidado Abdullateef Alakawa, SA. Security, Rtd. Brig-Gen. Saliu Bello, families and friends from the diaspora amongst others.
