According to the article released by Kwara People’s Frontier Movement, that Kwara state remains one of the safest states in the country despite the rising challenges of insecurity across Nigeria.
The government of Kwara state under the leadership of Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has prioritized the safety and security of lives and properties by harnessing the strength of the various security formations in the state as well as through intelligence gathering.
The leadership of Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in collaboration with the heads of the various security forces which include the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Police Force, Nigerian Security & Civil Defence Corps, the Vigilantes, and Community heads has provided direction in working together to rise to the challenges of security which have increased in recent months. Some of these challenges include kidnapping, communal disturbances, cases of cult clashes. Our agile security personnel has always been up to the task.
The AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led administration understands the depth of the situation and has invested in various efforts which include security drills by the military and other security forces in different parts of the states which have yielded viable results. There has been periodic combing of the forests which are the suspected hideouts of miscreants in various local governments of the state. The state has also staged rescue efforts where kidnappers have been neutralized or arrested at different times. We understand that there have been efforts from some quarters to spread misinformation in a bid to water down the achievements of the government in this sector.
It is important to note that the security of the state is the collective responsibility of everyone. Kwara State Government will like to enjoin Kwarans to support the efforts of the government towards keeping everyone safe.
