Being part of the University’s vision to support home-based writers and to promote Staff development, the Vice-Chancellor of the institution Professor Mohammed Mustapha Akanbi SAN, has expressed satisfaction towards the introduction of the book to the University. He approves the introduction of the book to the University community subsidizing the price by 25% to ensure its accessibility and readership among the University community.

In his remark, “KWASU has an enabling environment for creativity towards the advancement of individuals since one of the primary goals of the University is community development, we are committed to improving and encouraging our own in their endeavour endeavours. He further encourages the poet to continue in his bid to “right the wrongs through Literature, especthesey in this trying times, writers must be able to teach morals in their writings”.

The reviewer of the book, Dr. Isiaka Aliagan submits that “The thematic concerns of the book have universal appeal; power, politics as they affect lives in post-colonial African societies, among others. The poet is said to have demonstrated wizardry in forging words into fine poetic products. He concludes that “only an experienced poet can weave riddle from a withered tongue. The poet having thoroughly cleaned his forte can dine effortlessly with the elders. The work is a fine and ambitious collection from a budding poet with a promise of greater things to come…, I can say therefore, that my voyage in the world of the poems is rewarding and enchanting, and many initiate of the poetry cult will share similar testimonies in reading the work. I recommend the poet and the poetry collection to all men and women who by reading it may enrich their souls and thereby find peace and succour in this our troubled time.” Said Aliagan.

It would be recalled that the book presentation took place on the 6th of March, 2022 at KWASU Business School, Ilorin. The book had since received many endorsements by lovers of poetry, among which are; The Secretary to the State Government of Kwara State, Professor Mamman Saba Jubril, Professor Niyi Oand Sunday, Professor Remi Raji, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, Alhaja Halimat Yusuf, Alhaji Uthman Ottan, Barr.
