A Frontline House of Representative aspirant for Ilorin East/South Federal constituency under the platform of the All Progressive Congress, APC , Abdulwaheed Oluwanishola Jimmy Idiagbon on Friday 6th of May, 2022, picked his nomination and expression of interest forms with an assurance that if elected, he will take the constituency to a future of progress and prosperity.
He joins the growing list of aspirants jostling for the ticket of the All Progressive Congress which holds its primaries this month.
This makes him an official contender for the Ilorin East/South Constituency APC ticket in the forthcoming primary election.
According to him, the decision was taken to ensure quality representation for the people of Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency.
Abdulwaheed Oluwanishola Jimmy Idiagbon in his speech said that his interest is to bring a better change in the system through offering the best and most productive representation.
“He noted that his major concern is about building a greater tomorrow through youth empowerment and human capital development”.
He assured that it will be a new dawn for the people of Ilorin East/South if he gets elected into the House of Representatives, noting that he will have a larger platform to take more youths out of labour market, empower women and roll out a robust welfare package for the aged in the constituency.
Though not a do-or-die, Idiagbon has expressed readiness to slug it out shoulder to shoulder with other aspirants, expressing optimism that Jimmy has the requisite experience, and intellectual capacity to win the party’s ticket and go ahead to win at the poll with his people’s support.
Abdulwaheed Oluwanishola Jimmy IDIAGBON described the APC as the beacon of the revival of democracy in the country, he expressed confidence that the process of nominations during the primaries would be free and fair.
