It is no more news or gainsays that our person in the person of KOLO BABA JIYA ( KBJ ) has launched his genuine ambition and as well nailed his colors to the mast by letting people know what he has in stock for the betterment of Kwara North and Nigeria at large.
Kolo Baba Jiya, from the interview he granted last week, has urged critical stakeholders to impress it on state governors and their respective lawmakers that the financial independence of Local Governments would bring transparency to governance and would be beneficial to all. Kolo Baba Jiya also said that any Governor that derails from doing the needful in allowing the thriving and establishment of Local Government autonomy will be judged by POSTERITY!
Kolo Baba Jiya, the indisputable village Boy knows his onions and peels them with great care and dexterity. He knows the feelings and yearnings of his people like the back of his hand. He has traversed the length and breadth of his Federal Constituency (KWARA NORTH), and he has identified himself with their needs, and he has made it a call to duty to provide for their needs at any time whenever the opportunity presents itself. There is no disputing the fact that he has been doing the needful for years for his state even though he hasn’t occupied any political post, but he has been able to help countless people from his little available resources resulting from his proceeds from farming, maritime business, etc.
Kolo Baba Jiya knows the yearnings and feelings of his people at the local level. He made it known during his interview that his Federal Constituency is in dire need of potable water, infrastructure, and other recreational facilities to be put in place to make towns and villages more habitable and this will in no doubt boost the local economy. Kolo Baba Jiya will do all it takes at his disposal to provide all the necessities of life to his dear people.
