– 480 Kwara Children across over 30 Schools Benefit across Eleven (11) Wards of Ilorin South LGA
APC Flag bearer, Ilorin South State Constituency, Hajia Maryam Yusuf Aladi has successfully completed the second (2nd) phase of Tuition Scholarship Awards with over four hundred and fifty (450) underprivileged indigent School Children across the eleven (11) wards of Ilorin South Local Government Area emerging as beneficiaries.
The Scholarship program which is in it’s second (2nd) phase has been implemented across over thirty (30) Schools (Primary and Secondary) and impacted an additional 400+ families across Communities in Ilorin South whose Children can take third (3rd) term examinations and participate in other academic processes free of charge courtesy of Hajia Maryam Yusuf Aladi’s intervention.
OBJECTIVE & JUSTIFICATION FOR PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS TO INDIGENT SCHOOL CHILDREN
Hajia Maryam Yusuf Aladi; a seasoned Grassrooter, Business woman and Philanthropist believes in the people oriented leadership of His Excellency, Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq which has prioritised provision of sound Education to Kwara Children across all levels and she has been motivated to contribute her quota by extending a hand of fellowship to complement the Gov. Abdulrahman led Administration’s germaine efforts by providing tuition support for Students across Primary and Secondary Schools in a bid to enhance access to effective learning while also inducing an increase in School enrollment across Ilorin South Local Government Area.
COMMUNITY IMPACT OF PROJECT
Hajia Maryam Yusuf Aladi through her Scholarship implementation Team and other Strategic Youths and Women Groups effectively went across the eleven (11) Wards of Ilorin South Local Government (Akanbi Wards 1-5, Balogun Fulani Wards 1-3, Okaka Wards 1-2 and Okeogun Ward) within one (1) week to distribute Scholarships to Four hundred and eighty (480) beneficiaries drawn from respective Primary and Secondary Schools while also experiencing first hand the amazing work been done by the Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led Kwara State Government in remodeling School Infrastructure to better position the institutions for effective teaching and learning.
This exercise did not just afford the APC Flag bearer, Hajia Maryam Yusuf Aladi an opportunity to further interact with her Constituents and relate to their challenges while offering support, but it also provided feedback on how much Kwarans from Ilorin South and beyond appreciate His Excellency Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and his sustained commitment to Implementation of Community development centered projects in the Grassroots as the reason why.
CONCLUSION
The growth and development of Communities across Kwara State and our People is a collective responsibility of all Citizens. Hajia Maryam Yusuf Aladi strongly believes in this ideal and which has shaped her disposition to float and sustain this Scholarship program alongside other interventions at various levels to make the lives of Ilorin Southerners and Kwarans at large better.
The Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq-led Kwara State Government and indeed the All Progressives Congress (APC) have proven to be the best things that happened to Kwara State in the last four (4) years as the State’s history has been rewritten and her People put on a trajectory of Progress.
Hajia Maryam Yusuf Aladi is confident in the promise this partnership with the People’s Administration led by Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq holds for Kwarans and is poised to sustain the Scholarship Program for Indigent School Children across Ilorin South beyond the second (2nd) phase as well as continue contributing her quota to improve the welfare of Kwarans within the limitations of resources available to her Insha Allah.
