The Turaki of Ilorin and All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate in the 2023 general elections, Mallam Saliu Mustapha on Sunday hosted Magajis, Alanguas and other traditional leaders of Ilorin Emirate for Eid celebration.
Saliu Mustapha hosted the traditional chiefs in his Ilorin Residence after participating in the colourful Ilorin Durbar festival at the Emir’s Palace.
In his address, the Ilorin East born politician appreciated the traditional leaders for their unwavering support, noting that they are the pillar of his success.
Speaking on behalf of the Magajis and Alanguas, the Magaji Opolo, Alhaji Zulkairnani acknowledged immense contributions of Saliu Mustapha to traditional institution in Ilorin Emirate and wishes him success in his senatorial bid.
Earlier, Hon Hassan Gegele applauded the traditional chiefs from all the local government areas of Ilorin Emirate for their love, prayers and support for the APC Senatorial Candidate.
Gegele emphasized that Mustapha will continue to regard the traditional institution when elected as a Senator come 2023.
