ENACT Principal and foremost politician, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun extolled the virtues of an elder statesman, Prof. Mohammed Jamiu Oyawoye on the occasion of his 95th birthday.
In his birthday message, the ENACT Principal described the first Professor of Geology in Africa as a man of many qualities. According to him, it is a thing of Joy that many people too numerous to mention have gained from the elder statesman’s wealth of experience.
While also using the occasion to evaluate Prof. Oyawoye’s landmark achievements in his immediate community, the academic environment, the political scene, and religious circle, Engr. Adeyemi Balogun urges the youths to take a cue from the man by investing in their future and also tap from his wealth of experience.
“People like Prof. Oyawoye are rare to come by in our society these days. We are so lucky to have him around us. We pray that he will be alive much longer for this generation to be able to tap more from his wealth of experience”.
Adeyemi Balogun also prayed for Prof. Oyawoye’s increase in wisdom and sound health.
