No fewer than twenty four (24) of the 362 applicants who showed interest in the Kwara Idol Reality TV show have been selected to participate in the Season III of the musical contest Show, bid to commence 6th September, 2022.
This was disclosed by the organisers of the Kwara based Music talent show via a statement signed by Obasa Olubanke issued on Friday.
The statement said “Kwara Idol Reality TV show is glad to announce that out of the 362 applicants who showed interest in Season III of our musical contest, twenty four (24) has been shortlisted to participate in the events, commencing on 6th September, 2022.”
“The selections of the 24 outstanding participants followed a rigorous audition process by our team of experts. For the sake of clarity, 215 out 362 talents that registered for Kwara Idol season III, across various states of Nigeria participated in the auditioning physically and virtually in August.
“362 participants who filled the forms online at zero cost. The application fees was sponsored by Alhaji Hakeem Lawal, who is the headline sponsor for the Kwara Idol Season III”, the statement said.
The show will run concurrently for four (4) weeks, with each week featuring different genre of Music leading to eviction of contestants at different stages.
The winner of the show will win one million naira (N1m) cash prize and other gifts.
You will recall that Omolade, the crooner of Airtel viral advert ‘444’ and ‘Adulthood Na Scam’ emerged winner of Kwara Idol season II held in 2019.
Kwara Idol remains the leading show for unveiling music talents from Kwara State.
