Breaking out in smiles and gleeful happiness with his arms around his friend’s shoulders, Adekunle Gold showered praises and encomium on the genius mastery of Music Director Phenom, Seyifunmi Michael Bakare.
Gold couldn’t hide his excitement as he gifted his best friend an estimated £13,000 luxury watch at his O2 Academy Brixton show in London to the applause and jubilation of fans and critics.
Seyifunmi has been involved in the musical direction of Adekunle Gold career as a music icon from their friendship back in the days right from Ikotun, Lagos State, Nigeria.
Presenting the gift watch on stage, Seyifunmi was rewarded for staying with Gold as a friend and career guide for the ‘High’ crooner.
Speaking on his transformation in the industry, Gold extolled, “This guy dedicated his life to just pursue this thing with me and he’s here with me.
“This is my best friend. He is the reason for this show. I can sleep knowing that Michael has it. Like I keep growing every time…”
Seyifunmi is the production brain behind Simisola and Gospel veteran Ebenezer Obey’s remake of the hit song ‘Aimasiko’.
