The candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has made a tour of the Kwara North Senatorial District of Kwara.
Kwankwaso; a two-term governor of Kano state and former senator alongside the Senatorial Candidate of NNPP for Kwara North, Kolo baba Jiya visited communities across the 5 Local Government Areas that constitute the senatorial district.
Kwankwaso described Kolo Baba Jiya as the mass’s choice in Kwara North following the reception and support that was given to him during the tour. The visit according to the leading Presidential candidate was to further interact with the people and ascertain their needs, in furtherance to what the Senatorial candidate has been doing.
I chose to come by road from Abuja to have on-the-spot challenges facing Kwara North and I’m confident in the choice of our senatorial candidate, Dr. Kolo Baba Jiya – Kwankwaso. ” If the people of Kwara North vote for Dr. Kolo Baba Jiya as the senator in the red chamber, the new Kwara North will be rebirthed.”
While responding to some of the questions and comments by the constituents, Kolo Baba Jiya said he has identified solutions to the set back and challenges facing the people of Kwara North and he remains the candidate to beat in the coming polls. One thing that sets me apart from other candidates is my sincerity and human touch. I don’t promise what I won’t or can’t do. I believe this is the time to move our region forward, teaming up to get us dividends of democracy’ he said.
