Zinoleesky Grit and Lust UK Tour was Zinoleesky’s 2nd UK Tour Organized by International Promoter Olamide Baron.
The tour was announced in December 2022 and embarked on in March 2023 with six shows in the UK, Held at London, Manchester, Birmingham, Middlesbrough, Aberdeen, and Milton Keynes. Zino described the Birmingham show as his best from the tour.
The set list for the performance included songs from Zinoleesky’s Previous Albums and the new Grit and Lust EP.
Were there any challenges setting up a tour as big as this?
Just like all shows have their challenges, we encountered a few challenges on the UK Tour however the Tour was such a successful one and virtually all the shows were sold out, said Baron.
When we asked Baron, what numbers could we be looking at as per the revenue generated from the Zinoleesky UK Tour, “The Tour grossed Over £200,000” he said.
Can you take us through the planning process, please?
Well, Planning the Tour took us about 5 Months, I will just give a brief of 5 main stages. Stage 1 was the negotiation and agreement with the label, Stage 2 was Announcement and promotions, stage 3 was Visa processes and application, stage 4 arrival in the UK and logistics and Stage 5 is Event Days. If I must start talking about each stage, I believe we won’t finish today.
What are your next UK events featuring afrobeats artiste people should look forward to ?..
We have a UK Tour coming up in June with afrobeats superstar YOUNG JONN, A concert in Manchester and Birmingham with the prolific singer BNXN and a show with the beautiful singer FAVE amongst other shows…
