The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has rejoiced with Muslims all over the globe on the occasion of the celebration of Eidul-Adha 1444AH.
Rt. Hon. Engr. Danladi-Salihu described the period Eidul Adha as a time of sacrifice and stressed the need for the faithful to renew their faith, commitment, and dedication to the service of humanity.
“On this auspicious occasion of Eidul-Adha, I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to all my constituents who are celebrating. May this special day bring you and your family joy, happiness, and peace. Let us use this occasion to renew our commitment to the values of love, compassion, and unity, which are the hallmarks of the Islamic faith. As we celebrate the festival of sacrifice, let us also reflect on the lessons of sacrifice, selflessness, and service to humanity, which are fundamental to the spirit of Eidul-Adha”.
He also congratulated the Executive Governor of Kwara State and Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum; Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, the Emir of Ilorin; Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-gambari CFR, and all other traditional rulers, religious and community leaders as well as the general of Kwara Muslims.
The Speaker also implored the Muslim Faithful to celebrate moderately, spread love, share goodies with loved ones and remember to pray for the government of Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole.
