A nongovernmental organization, Train a Child, Train a Nation Initiative, recently donated lots of books, and other stationery including chalkboards and makers to pupils of Olulande Primary School, Ganmo Primary School (School A & B), Ilorin South LGA, Kwara State.

The team led by the founder, Ms. Ebosele Elizabeth; supported the outreach with books, stationery, and teaching materials to the schools.

Speaking on the reason behind the gesture, Ms. Elizabeth explained that the moment she noticed some children go to school every morning with big school bags with few or no books was the reason that spores our interest to embark on the outreach to primary school pupils.

“There is a popular saying that strikes a chord in the hearts of many; Children are the leaders of tomorrow.

As a foundation, we believe that every child has strong innate potential that should be developed and explored. This is why the foundation initiated the legacy project tagged “2023 Back To School Supplies Drive” for the sole aim of carrying out projects that affect individuals, communities, and even society at large. ” She said.

“These donations would not have been possible without the financial support of all our partners home and abroad, The Asher Back Fund, Arete, Truth Live News, Dudushewa & Girls and Goals Initiative” ” she added.

Expressing delight over the donations, the Headmistress of Olulande Primary School, Mrs Abubakar, stated that the gifts would go a long way in seeing the children learn properly.

”We are happy for this donation. As you can see, the children are very excited to receive you and your team. We are very grateful to the team lead of the initiative, Ms Elizabeth for bringing this good gesture to our school, and to all the funding partners, God bless you all.

Bringing lots of books, writing materials, makers, and cartons of chalkboard, we go a long way to improve our efficiency in discharging our responsibility. We say thank you for the donations” said, Mrs Olawole, the Headmistress of Ganmo Primary School (School A).
