Collaborating under the banner of SYB Records, the duo brings a fresh perspective to the ever-evolving Afrobeats street pop genre with this release.

In the musical tapestry of “Kowa,” Babby and Nwafrika intertwine their distinctive voices, contributing to the resurgence of Afrobeats street pop.

The song’s thematic focus revolves around the pursuit of the “soft life,” utilizing street anecdotes and clever songwriting to convey a message of seeking fleeting pleasure amidst everyday challenges.

Notably, “Kowa” serves as a precursor to their upcoming project scheduled for release in early 2024. The visuals accompanying the single complement the musical narrative, providing a visual feast that enhances the overall storytelling experience.
