APC stakeholder from Kwara North Senatorial District and The Haske of Etsu Patigi in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State, Dr. Kolo Baba Jiya has called on Political Stakeholders in the state to concede the 2027 governorship ticket to a candidate from Kwara North senatorial district.
Dr. Jiya made this call while speaking during the 41st Media Parliament organized by the Kwara State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Ilorin, the state capital.
In his statement, “The unity among the people of Kwara North Senatorial District has increased compared to the previous electioneering process.
“He pleaded to the stakeholders from Kwara Central and Kwara South Senatorial Districts to support Kwara North for the 2027 Gubernatorial race.
“However, he advised the people of the state to avoid the politics of money when making their decisions to choose a candidate for the 2027 elections.
“This is a message from the people of Kwara North, “Ye A Yayi 2027” meaning We are pleading for equity and fairness for the next governor to come from Kwara North in 2027.” He added
He eulogies the state Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq for his good work and leadership qualities.
