Liverpool attacker, Mohamed Salah, has said this is his “best chance” to clinch the Ballon d’Or award.
Salah has enjoyed an impressive run with the Reds as they lifted the 2024/2025 Premier League title.
The 32-year-old has recorded 28 goals and 18 assists. The Egyptian also won the golden boot race and player of the season award in the League.
The Ballon d’Or winner for this year will be announced on September 22 and Salah remains one of the favourites to win the individual award.
“I would say I never had a season like this and winning big trophies.
“So I would say this is my best chance to get it right now while I’m in the club because it’s been a crazy year, a crazy season with a trophy,” Salah told Sky Sports.
Salah is facing competition from Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembélé and Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal for the Ballon d’Or.
