Member of the Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) representing North Central and founder of the ENACT Leadership Initiative, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, has extended warm birthday felicitations to renowned elder statesman and education icon, Alhaji (Chief) (Dr.) AbdulRaheem Amoo Oladimeji, the Founder of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin.
In a statement released today, Engr. Adeyemi described Baba Oladimeji as a “visionary, courageous leader and a distinguished community developer whose lifelong dedication to educational advancement and communal upliftment continues to inspire generations across Kwara State and Nigeria at large.”
“Baba Oladimeji is not only the esteemed Founder of Al-Hikmah University but also a respected traditional titleholder—the Asiwaju of Ireseland, Asiwaju of Igbominaland, and Baba Oba of Offa. These honors reflect his wide-reaching influence and unrelenting commitment to the development of his people and community,” the statement read.
He further hailed the celebrant for his sterling contributions to education, particularly through the establishment and sustained growth of Al-Hikmah University, which has become a reputable institution nurturing academic excellence and moral discipline.
“Baba has brought immense pride and joy to Igbomina land, Kwara South, and the entire nation. His life is a blueprint of service, his leadership an emblem of courage, and his legacy a symbol of enduring relevance,” Adeyemi stated.
