Oyelola Oyewale, a lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, has emerged as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti Chapter.
He secured 194 votes, defeating Mr. Adelana from the Urban and Regional Planning Department in the election held on Tuesday at the Conference.
Oyelola is the current Vice President Administration and Communications, Nigerian Guild of Investigative Journalists (NGIJ) and Secretary, Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP).
He holds a Master’s degree/HND in Mass Communication and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations and Strategic Studies.
He Joined Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti in 2019 with Over 16 years of post-graduation experience.
Oyelola’s Manifesto Promises launching of ASUP-FPA Quarterly Bulletin to keep members informed about chapter activities and giving chapter activities deserving media attention to promote the union’s work and achievements.
