A notable stakeholder in Kwara South and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi, has commended His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his persistence and unwavering commitment to strengthening security across the state, particularly in Kwara South.
Engr. Adeyemi lauded the Governor’s consistent engagement with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the military high command, which has now led to the deployment of a full army brigade and heavy equipment to comb through forests in Ifelodun, Edu, and Patigi Local Government Areas — areas that have witnessed security challenges in recent times.
He described the latest development as “a bold and decisive step that reflects the Governor’s deep concern for the safety and peace of our people.”
“We must sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his relentless pursuit of security for all parts of Kwara, especially the southern axis. His persistence and continuous engagement with the Presidency have yielded this crucial deployment of military assets to troubled areas. This is a welcome relief for our communities,” Engr. Adeyemi said.
He also expressed profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for responding swiftly to the Governor’s request and prioritizing the safety of citizens through the deployment of the Nigerian Army and other security agencies under Operation Fasan Yanma.
“This intervention underscores President Tinubu’s commitment to national security and his determination to ensure that no part of Nigeria is left vulnerable to criminal elements. As citizens and stakeholders, we must continue to cooperate with the security agencies and provide intelligence that can aid their operations,” he added.
Engr. Adeyemi reaffirmed his support for the Governor’s administration and the Federal Government’s ongoing security reforms, emphasizing that a secure environment is the foundation for meaningful development and prosperity in Kwara South and beyond.
