Nigerian actress Bukola Arugba has publicly confronted the Kwara State First Lady, Olufolake Abdulrazaq, over her description of the deadly church attack that occurred in Eruku, Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The tragic incident took place on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, during a live-streamed programme at the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC). The attack left two people dead, one person injured, and several worshippers — including the pastor — abducted.
Reacting in a video posted on her Instagram page, Arugba strongly criticised the First Lady for describing the incident as an “attempted attack.” She argued that the statement downplayed the severity of what actually happened.
According to Arugba, the attack struck painfully close to home. She revealed that three of her own relatives — her aunty, Titi Balogun, and cousins, Ebenezer and Aina — were kidnapped during the raid and remain in captivity.
The actress urged authorities to acknowledge the true scale of the violence and take urgent steps to secure the release of the abducted victims.
