Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Founder of ENACT and Member, Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), extends profound gratitude to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the Executive Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, for their decisive roles in securing the freedom of the 38 abducted worshippers from Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Eruku, in Ekiti Local Government Area.
Engr. Adeyemi commends President Tinubu for his swift, hands-on, and patriotic intervention — including calling off his scheduled G20 trip — to personally coordinate national security responses to the incidents in Kwara and Kebbi States. His directive for heightened deployments and mobilization of tactical resources reflects his deep commitment to the safety and wellbeing of Nigerians.
He equally applauds Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his proactive leadership, relentless follow-up, and coordinated engagement with security agencies, which played a pivotal role in ensuring the safe return of the abductees.
Engr. Adeyemi expresses sincere appreciation to the Office of the National Security Adviser; the Department of State Services (DSS); the Nigerian Army; the Nigeria Police Force — especially the tactical teams newly deployed to Kwara on the directive of the President; the Nigeria Intelligence Agency (NIA); and all security operatives whose professionalism, courage, and sacrifice ensured this successful outcome.
He also acknowledges the resilience, prayers, and unity of Kwarans, traditional rulers, community leaders, and religious institutions throughout this difficult period.
Engr. Adeyemi prays for the full healing and reintegration of the rescued individuals and urges communities to remain vigilant and supportive of ongoing security efforts aimed at safeguarding lives and maintaining peace across the state.
