Ariana Grande has not ruled out the possibility of a “Wicked 3”, but Singapore authorities have put an end to a red carpet stunt gone wrong during a Wicked: For Good event.

On November 13, 26-year-old Johnson Wen jumped onto the red carpet and rushed toward the singer, prompting co-star Cynthia Erivo to step in and protect Grande.

According to The Straits Times, Wen was deported from Singapore on Sunday and barred from re-entering the country. Prosecutors labeled him a “serial intruder,” and a judge ruled that the stunt was premeditated as part of an attempt to create a viral social media video.

Wen pled guilty to one charge of being a public nuisance and was sentenced to nine days in jail. Despite the punishment, he appeared unfazed, posting photos online after his release and even thanking Ariana Grande for allowing him to “Jump on the Yellow Carpet.”

Wen’s Instagram account reveals a pattern of similar behavior, including past attempts to get close to celebrities such as Katy Perry and The Weeknd by jumping onstage.
