Troops of the Joint Task Force (JTF), North-East Operation Hadin Kai, have neutralized a terrorist and recovered arms and ammunition during a patrol near Delwa and Tojiri villages in Borno State.
The operation, conducted on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, involved JTF personnel working alongside local hunters and members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF).
Deployed to Delwa village, the troops advanced toward Tojiri around 9:00 a.m., where they came under fire from terrorists. In the ensuing engagement, the troops returned fire, neutralizing one terrorist while others fled the scene in disarray.
Following the encounter, the troops recovered one FN rifle, two FN magazines containing 28 rounds of 7.62mm NATO ammunition, two Tecno phones, and three sachets of drugs.
No casualties were reported among the troops during the operation.
