Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez experienced a tense moment during his recent performance in Abuja. As he approached the stage to begin his set, members of the crowd began hurling objects—including water and plastic bottles—in his direction.
Security personnel responded immediately, forming a protective barrier around him and working to de-escalate the situation as the atmosphere grew increasingly unsettled.
The reason behind the sudden hostility from some attendees remains unclear at this time.
