    Israel has rejected a proposal from Hamas to freeze its weapons, insisting that the militant group must be fully disarmed and that Gaza must be demilitarized.

    Israeli officials stated that a partial freeze on arms would not be sufficient to ensure the security of Israeli civilians. The government reaffirmed its commitment to dismantling Hamas’s military capabilities to prevent further attacks and restore stability in the region.
    Israel has rejected Hamas’s proposal for a temporary weapons “freeze,” insisting that the militant group must be fully disarmed and Gaza completely demilitarized as part of any peace agreement.
