Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, has received with deep shock and profound sadness the news of the sudden demise of Dr. Fatai W. Bello (MBBS, PhD), describing his passing as a painful loss to Erin-Ile, Ibolo land, Kwara South, the APC family, and Kwara State at large.

In a condolence message, Engr. Adeyemi extolled Dr. Bello was an unsung hero, a rare gem whose life was defined by quiet service, uncommon humility, intellectual depth, and unwavering commitment to community development.

“Dr. Fatai Bello was not a man of noise, but a man of results. He worked silently, opened doors for many, restored hope to families, and consistently placed the interest of his people above personal recognition. His legacy is written in the lives he touched,” Engr. Adeyemi said.

Engr. Adeyemi noted that Dr. Bello’s interventions in employment opportunities, admissions for Erin-Ile indigenes into tertiary institutions, and his continuous support for educational and community development initiatives stand as enduring testimonies to a life of impact. His passion for fairness, inclusion, and human capital development distinguished him as a true patriot and community leader.

He further described the late Dr. Bello as an intellectually driven personality and a dependable mentor whose counsel and guidance enriched everyone privileged to engage with him, adding that his sudden departure has left a void that will be difficult to fill.

Engr. Adeyemi extended heartfelt condolences to the Bello family, the people of Erin-Ile, the APC family, friends, associates, and all those whose lives were touched by the late Dr. Bello.

May Almighty God grant his gentle soul eternal rest and comfort all of us who mourn this irreparable loss. Though he has departed, his good works will continue to speak for him,” he added.

Dr. Fatai W. Bello will be remembered not just for his professional and political engagements, but for his humanity, compassion, and silent dedication to the progress of his people.

Adieu, Dr. Fatai W. Bello. Your legacy lives on.
