Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, Founder of ENACT and Member, Board of Trustees (BOT), TETFUND representing North Central Nigeria, has congratulated the Kwara State Government on its outstanding emergence as the Best Performing State in the North Central Zone at the 2025 Primary Health Care (PHC) Leadership Challenge Award.

Engr. Adeyemi described the recognition as a well-deserved validation of the sustained reforms and people-centred investments of the administration of His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON) in strengthening primary healthcare delivery across the state.

He commended the Governor’s unwavering commitment to improving healthcare outcomes for Kwarans, noting that the third consecutive national recognition reflects visionary leadership, effective coordination, and prudent deployment of resources within the health sector.

“This achievement underscores Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s dedication to building a resilient and inclusive healthcare system, with primary healthcare as its foundation. The consistent progress recorded by Kwara State is a model worthy of emulation across the federation,” Engr. Adeyemi stated.

He further applauded the Kwara State Ministry of Health, the Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency (KWSPHCDA), and all frontline health workers for their professionalism and commitment, which have continued to place the state on the national spotlight.

Engr. Adeyemi expressed confidence that the $400,000 grant accompanying the award will be judiciously utilized to further strengthen PHC infrastructure and expand access to quality healthcare services in communities across the state.

He reaffirmed his support for policies and initiatives that prioritize the health and wellbeing of citizens, describing quality primary healthcare as a cornerstone for sustainable development and human capital growth.
