The Super Eagles trained behind closed doors in Rabat on Monday as they stepped up preparations for their highly anticipated AFCON 2025 semi-final clash against host nation Morocco.
According to the team’s media officer, Promise Efoghe, the private session was designed to allow head coach Eric Chelle to focus on tactical work without outside distractions. The training took place at the Complexe Mohammed VI in Rabat.
Efoghe added that media representatives will have access to the first 15 minutes of Tuesday’s session before the team continues with private drills.
Nigeria aims to reach their second AFCON final since winning the tournament in 2013 and finishing as runner-up in the last edition held in Ivory Coast. The semi-final clash with Morocco is scheduled for Wednesday at the Prince Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat.
