Between January and March 2022, the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led Kwara State spent the sum of N413m on international travels embarked upon by officials of the government. This was contained in a data obtained from the First Quarter (2022) Budget Implementation Performance Report of the state government. This is coming despite the governemnt’s repeated claims of being prudent in the management of the state resources. The report showed that of the N774,214,199.00 budgeted for international travels in 2022, the sum of N413,546,812.00 representing 53.4% was spent between January and March 2022.
The Kwara State Government has spent N94,855,407.45 on Internet service between January and March 2022. According to data obtained from the First Quarter (2022) Budget Implementation Performance Report, of the N231,588,096.00 budgeted for internet service, N94,855,407.45 was spent between January and March, 2022. The state government also spent a total of N871,588,660.85 on the State Government House between January and March of the same year.
