The Chairman, Global Prolife Alliance, GPA, Prof (Dr) Philip Njemanze, has revealed that the National Health Act 2014 permits the harvesting of a person’s organs without their consent in Nigeria. Njemanze, an International Academician of Science, expressed fears that millions of Nigerians may die from legalized organ poaching in the nearest future if something urgent is not done to amend the Act. A Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin has sentenced a corps member to two years imprisonment for internet related fraud offences. Adetuberu Christopher Adetoyese, currently serving in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, was arraigned before the court on Thursday, August 11, by the llorin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
