This was contained in the First quarter budget performance of the state released on the state website. The report indicates that Kwara State Government spent a total of N871,588,660.85 on the State Government House between January and March 2022. The report indicated that of the N3,976,799,055.00 total expenditure, the sum of N871,588,660.85 has been expended.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved N470bn special fund in the 2023 budget for university revitalization and upward review of lecturers’ salaries. The Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed, made this known at a briefing in Abuja on Wednesday, October 19. The Lagos State Judicial Service Commission has terminated the appointments of Magistrates Oluwatoyin Gwendolyn Oghre and Humenu Olajuwon Amos as members of the State Judiciary for misconduct.
