The Federal government has asked vice-chancellors of all public universities to reopen their universities and resume lectures. Punch reports that the federal government gave the directive through the National Universities Commission (NUC) in a letter signed by Sam Onazi, director, of finance and accounts of the NUC, on behalf of Abubakar Rasheed, executive secretary of the commission. The letter was said to have been addressed to all vice-chancellors; pro-chancellors and chairmen of governing councils of federal universities. “Ensure that ASUU members immediately resume/commence lectures; Restore the daily activities and routines of the various University campuses,” the letter reportedly reads. Nigerian vocalist and songwriter, Tiwatope Savage has revisited her leaked tape scandal on her new collaboration with Asake. In October 2021, the singer revealed that she was being blackmailed with her leaked tape during an interview with New York’s Power 105.1 FM. Eventually, the tape was leaked and went viral in seconds, although the singer suffered a severe backlash, she stood strong amid the controversy. Surprisingly, Tiwa revisited the saga in her new track with the fast-rising act, Asake, titled, “Loaded”.
