Actor Ugezu Ugezu has slammed celebrities who do not show interest in politics. The actor pointed out that some celebrities only cruise and show off via their social media accounts, but do not post anything about politics. He referred to them as “yeyebrities” and warned that when “the roof falls” they won’t be exempted just because they are celebrities.

Italian Serie A club, Napoli has ruled out selling Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen this summer. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has decried the rising cost of diesel and its effect on his fish business. Obasanjo who spoke on Tuesday, August 2 during a southwest fish farmers’ congress held at the presidential library (OOPL) in Ogun state, said the high diesel price may push fish farming into bankruptcy, as he is “already sweating” over the high cost. Ahead of the 2023 elections, Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka, has backed the six weeks ultimatum given to President Muhammadu Buhari by some federal lawmakers to find a solution to terrorism or be impeached.
